I have a VR-760 with a dot-matrix screen that begins scrolling rapidly to the right quickly after turn on. I took it to a reputable electronics repair shop, and they could not fix it. In fact, they made it slightly “worse” as it now also scrolls rapidly upward (vertically) as well. It’s fine when you turn it on for a few seconds, then begins this rapid scrolling behavior. (Also, since I got it back from them, the Chorus/Vibrato knob doesn’t work, it just stays on one setting.)
I would appreciate any options or thoughts on getting this repaired. The rest of the instrument is great, and still very usable … you just can’t get to the programmable variables or see sound names, etc.
