Sequential Circuit Tom Drum - Noise Issue

Hello,

My 110v US powered Tom drum has unfortunately been fed 230v a few years ago since I by mistake used a travel converter that did not change voltage - Im an idiot I know:( This caused the original power supply to blow up and I ordered a new 230v one from Wine Country.

The Tom drum still works perfectly but now has a low constant noise (digital hiss/tone). I had a synth repair person look at it but he mainly deals with analogue synths and was unable to pinpoint the issue. He suggested it could be the following chip U115 (CA3082) that is damaged but he was not 100% sure.

Do you guys have any experience with this or any idea which chip or part might be damaged.

Thank you for your time and help!!

Try using a one to one transformer if you can get your hands on one. It could be the hum of ac current on household sockets. If that doesn’t solve the issue then it could really be the U115 (CA3082) chip your repairman is talking. But I will suggest you leave the repairs of that level to the professionals.
