It powers up and responds to functions, just cant hear anything. That is the main out and headphones. Anybody experience anything like this before? thanks.

Lets hope it hasn’t been modded like this.
aA best it may be an op amp failure, but they fail because capacitors go out of spec, so your looking at several component replacements.
Open it up and look.
