Hello fellow synth enthusiasts! I have three little synths that I am looking for help with. I will start with my Roland JX-3P - it was given to me because it does not work. When I power it on, all of the lights on the control panel light up and stay lit. Does not do anything other than that. Would anyone know which one of the chips I need to replace to fix this problem???
I don’t think you can assume it is one specific chip that will cause this. It will take some hands-on diagnosis to determine what is wrong. It could be a power supply issue, a faulty resistor, wiring harness plugged incorrectly or damaged, etc.
