Can you upgrade the firm ware on the SQ 80? Is all that it takes an update of eprom?
Yes, you simply change the EPROMs, and then reinitialize the keyboard. So make sure your sounds and sequences are saved before you do this, as reinitializing it restores the factory internal banks and wipes the sequencer clean.
