I have a mid 90’s Peavey DPM C8 with noise in the keys. My research so far leads me to believe that I will need to replace the upper and lower felts and lubricate to get rid of squeaky keys. I have watched a number of videos and without yet knowing the specific key weighting mechanism (hammers or rods) I expect that the felt will be either replaced with a new felt or possibly carefully removed and bonded with a 2mm strip of insulation material and re-attached. All that said to see if anyone has advise before I disassemble?
I see on Syntaur the felt product below, but I have no idea if it is a suitable replacement.
I also do not know if the felt height width for upper and lower are the same…
