VK-7 Damage tone generation

Hey there,

I’ve recently damaged my Roland Vk-7.

The VK was sounding fine but contunuously switching off and on, so thinking it was a dry joint in the power module i took it to a technician who found some and resoldered them.

However when the technician reconnected the power supply the VK was ounly making distorted noises instead of the usual lovely tones.

All the other keyboard logic continued to work fine, with no memory loss and display working well too.

Any idea of how to go about repairing such damage pls?

Regards

Mark
