Scored a really nice XP-30 on the cheap. Modulation didn’t work. Rubber pad had slipped between contacts somehow. That, or someone had it apart. Easy fix.
I like it. Lots and lots of sounds, velocity sensitive, aftertouch…filter cutoff and resonance on a knob.
But, I have a JV-1010 and a JV-1000. So there’s quite of bit of possible overlap there. To me, the XP-30 actually sounds a bit thin.
