Hi All, glad to join the community! Hoping someone can help - I need to replace a key on my beloved Yamaha Clavinova CLP-123 but I just can’t find how to get into the case to do it. I don’t have the 3 screws at the back which are so often referred to in repair vids. If anyone has the service manual or could just tell me how to get into the case I’d be very happy! Thanks for reading.
Thanks for that. I got there in the end. In case anyone else is struggling, you need to look under the keyboard for big silver set-in brackets at the back corner each side, brass screw head in middle is actually a huge long bolt which goes diagonally backwards to fix into the case top. And for anyone looking to replace a key, they are NOT the key and mechanism shown all over YouTube but there is a video called " Clavinova Piano Key Removal, Cleaning, Repair or Replacement" by Gary Garrett which shows you perfectly what the keys look like and what you need to do. Hope this saves someone from my frustrating experience.
