Yamaha Clavinova CLP-350 Felt Replacement

Hello,

I have a problem with my Clavinova CLP-350 digital piano. The issue is that the keys make a knocking sound when returning to their original position. I found out that this is likely due to worn-out felts, specifically felt number 12 (VC985000). I also wanted to replace felt number 15 (VC985300) and possibly others as well.

My question is: where can I find something similar that would be compatible? I’ve already checked the manufacturer’s website and official distributors, but I couldn’t find these parts anywhere.

I’d be very grateful for your help.

Wow, that’s a real antique! First place I’d check is a piano supply house like howardpianoindustries.com
Figure out the thickness and length of the material and talk to someone on what density would be appropriate.
Personally, I wouldn’t put the time money or effort into a Clavinova that old (1988) where no electronics are available anymore. The sound and action of a more current (20 years or newer) will be light years ahead in technology and key action.
It would be like fixing a Commodore computer…
