Hi everyone my Clavinova just stopped working. Turns on but not sound output. Plugged in headphones and still no sound. Backlight in my display is not bright like normal also. I’m at a standstill any help would be much appreciated.
When you turn on the instrument, after about 2 … 5 secs you should hear a click from the inside. That click is a relay that enables the main speaker. If that relay does not work then I would guess you are having a problem with the PSU/Amp board (inside to the right of the main circuit boards - see pic). There is a known issue with caps leaking on those PSU/Amp boards.
