My Yamaha CP 300 is making so much clunking of the keys that I need to stop if I want to keep using it. Looking for suggestions.
Assuming this is an older model, it might need an internal cushion pad strip under bottom of the keys replaced. Some pads may get compressed, dried, or crumbly over the years. Worth inspecting to verify sponginess of strip.
I’ve purchased the upper and lower cushion strips for the CP 300 and now just feel unsure about how to open the case. It’s probably simple, but I could use some support with this question.
