just wanted to let people know on the yamaha dgx 640 when the backlight goes out.
If you are very careful you can separate the LCD and pull out the backlight board and replaced the LED they are 1206 series like grain of rice size.
I have repaired about 5 of these since the displays are no longer available. Customers have been very happy.
