Yamaha DGX-650 input voltage exceeded

I have a DGX-650. It has an electrical input of 12 volts. Another power supply with an output of 48 volts was mistakenly plugged into it. When it was turned on we heard a couple pops and now it doesn’t work. Does anyone know what kind of damage this caused and what would be the fix?
Thank you.

Ahhmmm … that might be expensive or terminal.

There is a fuse on the board where the power pack plugs in BUT if that fuse pops the problem is usually way more serious than just a simple fault.

Beyond that there are various IC’s (Integrated Circuits) that are using the 12V (48V in your case) that would most probably not have made it through.

You will need a tech (maybe you’re a tech - don’t know) that can go through step-by-step to check what is gone and what is blown.
