Anyone have a clue were I can get a Yamaha DX21 display replacement? other then Ebay, I bought a few and I get on Forums but nobody would give me an correct answer on how to modify them to work correctly.

Here are some upgrades/ replacements:

If it’s the same display as a DX7, you can get an lcd on ali express for like two dollars.
I bought off of Ali express, it does not work or I don’t know how to wire it 
From memory, the oem display has 14 pins and pins 1-14 are identical to the replacement. I soldered a link between pin 1 and 16 on the new display, and another link between pin 2 and 15, to power the LED backlight. My DX7 previously had a backlit LCD installed so I also had to remove the high voltage converter.
