Yamaha MODX Contact Strips Replacement

Just hoping that someone can advise on how many and which size contact strips are required for an original MODX7. I am waiting to receive a screwdriver long enough to open the unit, but I want to order the correct number of strips ahead of time.

I’m sure other people would benefit from knowing the amount and sizes for the 6 and 8 as well.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

it is unlikely that replacing them will solve your issue. Cleaning the contacts fixes most issues.

Would be advantageous if you could describe what the issue is with the keys - may help to pinpoint out the issue somewhat better.
