Yamaha Motif XF8 Faders Increases Itself On The Screen

Hello buddies,

A Yamaha motif xf8bwas brought to me to troubleshoot for repairs.

I noticed during performance the fader 2, Fader 4, Fader 7 increases itself on the screen without manual adjustment.

Please what could be the problem? Is it the voice volume faders or the panel board is having problem.

Please i look forward to your earliest reply on this.

two things:

  1. What FW version is it running?
  2. Have you tried Factory Reset (take setup copy first) ?

I haven’t check buy would do.

But could this issue be software problem or hardware??

It isn’t softwsre problem. Juat repace the defective faders with the right ones and everything will be fine.
