Yamaha P-115, loose black keys

Hello,

My yamaha P-115 has 2 loose keys, Eb5 and Bb5, they have lateral movement while the surrounding keys do not, the Eb is particularly bad and comes out of alignment easily, please see the video below. These issues are relatively mundane but I use to keyboard for gigs and do not want the issues to get worse.

I would like to know exactly what parts to purchase to replace these two keys, I have opened the keyboard up and fixed it before with keys that have popped out before, I just need to know what parts to buy, thank you.

You need to replace the black key assembly WN045200.
There is probably small cracks at the joints, or debris from the broken keys

Thank you for the reply, just to clarify, it’s just the key assembly that needs replacing, not the hammer weights? (ex: Hammer weight, black key #1, Yamaha - Syntaur)

I wasn’t sure if the hammer weights were part of the problem or not, I have not opened it up to take a look because quite frankly I am lazy and it would take more than an hour of drilling screws. I have already ordered the new black key assembly, so just let me know (or if anybody reading knows) if the hammer weights need to be replaced or if they do not affect this particular problem.

Thanks so much for your help

Sam

Last small question to anybody reading, will the replacement key assembly require application of lubricant to function smoothly/properly? Thanks

no additional lube.
Sam- never had a hammer weight issue on P115…
