Yamaha P45 – Several keys not working
I have several keys on the left side of the keyboard that is not working.
total of 8 keys. I marked them with 8 tape.

Open up the keyboard and check the circuit board for the lower third of the keyboard.
Hopefully you’ll see corrosion or water damage.
Check tracks and diodes.

Have a close look … the fault occurs at every 6th note … the keys are scanned in groups of 6. The left most C being C0 then the first fault occurs at G#1 and G1.
Hence you have corroded tracks either at the right most section of the left board or the left most section of the middle board.
Sometimes you can just clean them and bridge the corroded section with a piece of fine wire, or 2 pieces of fine wire in your case, attach them from the still working diode to the next not working diode belonging to the same group, therefore bridging the corrosion.
Alternatively buy the boards - still available from YAMAHA and not expensive.
