Yamaha PSR520 replacing broken keys

Hi

My friend has asked me to repair a broken key on his old Yamaha PSR 520. I have the taken it apart, and have the replacement key strip - but I can’t get the keys off!

There are no tear down videos to guide me - can anyone on here just tell me what I need to do? It’s cooking my swede!

Can you please put up a picture of the frame as you have dis-assembled it so far - I then point out how to continue.

Hi

I have actually managed to do the repair. It appears that for this model, you need to actually remove the circuit board that the keys push onto. This then allows the rubber contacts to be removed, which lets the keys come off.

I eventually found out what to do by searching for any type of PSR key removal until I found a similar set up to this one.
