Yamaha Reface CS, Severed Connector

I have a Yamaha Reface CS with a severed connector, and I believe the part number is ZN09440.

It connects CN404 on the main board to CN2 on the keyboard. Because one wire is severed, six notes are not playing. Yamaha doest have this part available. If a replacement can’t be sourced, what is the best way to repair or reconnect the damaged wire?

Do it yourself. Strip back the insulation a little, pop a bit of heat shrink over one cable, solder the wires together, pull the heat shrink over and give a blast of hot air.
